A great and simple way to use fresh mulberries. This recipe requires just 4 ingredients, no icecream-maker and hardly takes any time at all(except for freezing)!
about 250g fresh mulberries
5-6 tbsp icing sugar
2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
Whip the cream with the icing suger till it thickens slightly then add in the condensed milk. You can reduce the amount of icing sugar depending on the sweetness of the mulberries.
Crush the mulberries lightly in another bowl using a fork and mix them into the cream and condensed milk mixture along with the juices extracted from the berries while crushing them.
Transfer into a container and freeze for 4-5 hours, stirring ocassionally to avoid formation of ice. Serve when frozen but not hard with crumbled digestive biscuit or short bread.
