Pan-fried Butter Garlic Drumettes!

I really love chicken drumettes! Their the perfect finger food and can be prepared in a million ways. Spicy, sweet, dry, sticky or crunchy!

A really simple recipe for juicy buttery chicken drumettes. The savouriness of the garlic cuts right through the butteriness of the chicken and finally a dash of vinegar to finish it! Tastes amazing when dunked in some sweet BBQ sauce or some creamy spiced yogurt sauce. A garnish of some finely chopped coriander stems or even some spring onions gives it the perfect crunch.

Recipe for 6 drumettes

6 chicken drumettes

3 cloves of garlic,finely chopped

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp white vinegar

1/2 tsp crushed mustard seeds

Add the mustard seeds to the drumettes and mix it around a bit.

Heat in a shallow pan some olive oil and once heated, add in the chicken and caramelize till golden brown. Once colored, add in the knob of butter and garlic along with all the seasoning. While on a high heat, spoon the melting butter and garlic over the chicken in the pan. Coat the chicken in the butter and garlic till the garlic begins to brown. As soon as the garlic starts browning, switch the heat off and serve with mayonnaise or BBQ sauce.
