Crisp and spicy chicken legs!
8 chicken legs
150 ml buttermilk
1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
oil for deep frying
4 tbsp extra hot peri peri sauce(more if you like it hot)
5 tbsp honey (more if you like it sweet)
about 250-300g flour, enough to coat the chicken
salt and pepper for seasoning
Marinate chicken legs in the ginger and garlic paste, and buttermilk for atleast 3 hours.
Heat some oil in a pan deep enough for deep frying. Once the oil is hot, coat the chicken legs in flour. Keep the butter milk from the marinade aside. Fry the chicken for 5-7 minutes or till cooked and brownish in color. Rest on a paper napkin.
In a wok, reduce the buttermilk till slightly thick. Add salt, pepper and the Peri Peri sauce. Heat and toss in the chicken. Toss till completely coated and heated for a couple of minutes.
Serve with a yogurt dip or some mayonnaise.
