Spicy sticky garlicy chicken lollipops!
8 chicken lollipops (you can also use chicken wings)
3 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
2 green chilis (finely chopped)
a handful of finely chopped spring onions
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
salt and pepper to season
oil for stir frying
Heat oil in a wok. On a high heat add in the chilis and ginger and garlic paste. Saute for a couple of minutes till they start turning brownish. Add in the lollipops and stir till they are coated in the garlic and chili. Add in the soy sauce and stir constantly till they are cooked on the outside.
Once they are cooked but not completely cooked, add honey in the wok and stir till the lollipops are coated with it. Stir in the sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper and allow the liquids in the wok to evaporate and form a sticky sauce.
Once they are completely cooked toss with the spring onions. Turn off heat and serve hot.
