Honey ‘n’ Butter Chicken Roast

Easy to prepare roast chicken legs with a light honey butter flavour.


6 whole chicken legs (without skin)
100g butter
100g honey
4 tbsp finely chopped coriander
3 tbsp chili flakes
2tbsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp salt
3 tbsp finely chopped garlic
4-5 potatoes and onions(cut into big chunks)


1)Preheat oven to 220ºC.

2)Melt butter till slightly brown. Whisk in honey,coriander, chili flakes, pepper and garlic over a low heat for 3-4 minutes.

3)Place veggies and chicken legs in a shallow baking tray. Pour half of the butter and honey sauce over and roast in oven for an hour. After half an hour, add the rest of the sauce and continue cooking.

4)Once cooked, remove chicken and veggies from the tray and reduce all the juices down till thick.
