Layers of cake and bananas with an easy icing!
1/2 tsp baking powder
75g caster sugar
150g self-raising flour
150g butter (softened)
100g icing sugar
1tbsp caramel sauce(I used Hershey’s. You can use any as per your choice)
1 tsp cocoa powder
1)Preheat oven to 200°C. Whisk all ingredients for the cake till thick and smooth. Bake in a lined tin for 35 minutes.
2)While the cake is baking, cream the butter for the icing. Add in the icing sugar,cream and caramel sauce and blend using a hand-mixer till light and creamy.
3)Let the cake cool completely and remove from tin carefully. Pipe on the icing evenly. You can also simple spread the icing on. Dust with cocoa powder and serve!
