A quick recipe for simple chocolate biscuits…
Makes around 19
100g butter (softened)
100g caster sugar
1 egg yolk
225g plain flour(sifted)
2 tbsp milk
55g metled chocolate (you can use the ones with nuts or some dark chocolate or you could just go with plain milk chocolate)
1)Preheat oven to 200°C.
2)Mix butter with sugar till pale and fluffy. Beat in the egg yolk and flour. Stir in milk to form a smooth dough.
3)Roll out the dough on a dusted surface till it is an inch thick. Cut into desired shapes and sizes. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden.
4) Once completely cooled, spread on a fair amount of melted chocolate. Enjoy!
