Easy tempura recipe.
500g basa fish fillet
80g tempura flour
salt and pepper for seasoning
oil for deep-frying
1) Heat oil in a shallow wok.
2) Cut fillet into 2 inched bite sized pieces.
3)Whisk in beer in the flour in another bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
4)Dry of the excess water from the fillets using a kitchen towel. Dab over really gently.
5)Dip the basa pieces in the batter and fry in hot oil at a high flame till golden-brown.
6)Serve hot , they tend to soften.
