Sticky Soy’n’ Honey Chicken Wings

November 19, 2011 by Dhani's recipes

A super easy recipe for super messy wings!

500g chicken wings(cut into two parts from the middle)
1 cup honey
1 cup soy sauce (dark)
a handful of roughly chopped coriander
1/2 cup sesame seeds
extra virgin olive oil
4-5 tbsp chili flakes
2 tbsp ginger and garlic paste

1) Marinade chicken in soy sauce, coriander, chili flakes and ginger garlic paste. Rest for atleast 2 hours.

2)On a medium heat, saute the marinated wings with some olive oil, also add all the left over marinade. Add a couple of tablespoons honey, and saute.

3)Cook till the liquids evaporate and give occasional stirs. Once all the liquids had evaporated, add left over honey and sesame seeds. Cook for another 3-4 minutes on a high heat. Serve!

WARNING:Keep a pile of tissue paper handy!
