INGREDIENTS: (makes 1 steak)
lamb shoulder slice
Asian flavoured BBQ sauce (NOT Hoisin)
A glass of red wine
1) Keep pan on high heat and add a little bit of butter.
2)Place the meat on the pan once hot and flip once it gets a slight brownish colour.
3)Once both sides are coloured lightly, brush on a generous amount of BBQ sauce on the top side and flip. Lets it cook for 5-8 minutes, till then cover the top side with sauce.
4) Flip over. Don’t worry if the sauce sticks to the pan. cook for another 5-8 minutes.
5) Once both sides are mostly cooked, add 1/4 glass of red wine. and let it simmer with the steak on a medium heat.
6) Once the pan is dry, remove the steak and deglaze the pan with the remaining wine and add a little more sauce if you want to. Season with sugar, pepper, etc. Stop cooking till the glaze covers the back of your spoon. Drizzle over steak and serve!
