An easy recipe for a great appetizer…
250g chicken mince
about 3 handfuls of fresh coriander
1 green chili
4-5 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp red chili powder
2 tbsp salt
juice of one lemon
around 500g bread crumbs
1)Blend coriander, chili and garlic in a blender till you get a fine paste.
2)Mix the coriander paste with the chicken mince along with the other ingredients. Mix well. Keep adding breadcrumbs till you get a dough-like consistency .
3)Take spoonfuls of the mixture and pat them into small flat circles. Don’t make them too flat or they will break while frying.
4)Shallow fry in some hot oil. Around 1-2 minutes on each side.
5)Serve with mint chutney.
