(Adapted from Kylie Kwong’s Spicy Eggplant Stir-fry)
This is a really easy recipe for this really spicy chili sauce with can be used in stir-fries, as a dip, can be eaten with rice and can be diluted with stock and made into a curry.
1 green chili (chopped)
a pinch of red chili powder
2 onions (finely chopped)
3 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
a spoonful of ginger(finely chopped)
4 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
salt,pepper,sugar for taste
handful of sesame seeds
1)Saute onion,garlic,ginger and chili in oil till slightly brown.
2)Add soy sauce,sesame seeds and seasonings and mix throughly till you get a sauce like consistency. Keep on high heat and saute till you get a dark brown shade but make sure its not burnt.
